Vegan Citrus French toast

This is a personal favorite and a recipe I have used for more than 8 years. 

1 C Orange Juice
4 TBSP Honey
2 TBSP Cinnamon (optional)
1 Loaf of bread 
(I use a homemade oat bread)
1-2 Bananas
1 C Almond or Soy Milk

Set bread aside, blend all other ingredients until it forms a smooth batter. 
Dip slices of bread in the blended mixture and pan fry on medium heat.
Serve with 100% maple syrup and fruit. 

The citrus, fruity flavor of the orange and banana make a perfect french toast batter. Vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike love this french toast far above your typical egg-y custard french toast.

This vegan blog is an extension of my regular food blog, however in 2013 I have committed to making one vegan or vegetarian food blog a day! I have worked as a chef for 11 years and have built my knowledge around knowing the true science of food and the different ways we process it.
